Hundreds ‘singing in the rain’ break world record umbrella dance

Hundreds of people were singing in the rain on Sunday after breaking the record for the world’s largest ever umbrella dance.

While the rest of the country cowered under umbrellas, more than 230 dancers took to the rain in renewed spirit.
Carrying umbrellas, the group met near the centre of Bath, Somerset, at midday on Sunday after six months of training.

Watched by a Guinness World Records adjudicator they then performed a specially choreographed five-minute dance to the song ”Singin’ in the Rain”.
The event, organised by Bath International Dance Festival, smashed the previous world record.
”It has taken over six months of exceptionally hard work to allow us to run this very special activity,” said James Whitehead, the BIDF Director.
”This year’s record attempt symbolises our ethos to encourage participation in dance and bring people together.
”Being a World Record holder is fantastic achievement.”

This is so cool why does noone tell us of these things =[
