Pillow fight breaks out at 36,000ft

Dozens of passengers on an internal US flight were captured grabbing free pillows and pelting each other with them while others looked on and laughed.
A passing stewardess found herself caught in the pillow crossfire as she attempted to make her way down the aisle of Continental Airlines flight CO1905 from Phoenix airport to Washington State’s Paine Field airport last week.
The pillow-based frolics were kicked off by members of FlyerTalkers, an online forum populated by frequent fliers, who were partaking in Star Mega Do 2010.
It’s a six-day, six-city tour of various air routes that involves passengers being wined and dined by airline bosses and asked for feedback on the service provided.
‘Pillow fights are more fun at 36,000ft,’ commented one user of the Star Mega Do website.
‘I don’t know who started it or why. But someone did, so as we started our descent into Paine Field a fully-fledged pillow fight broke out,’ he continued.
‘Suddenly the cabin was filled with pillows (and a blanket or two) flying back and forth. Quite entertaining to watch and participate in.’
